The next steps in the estimation process are to put the tasks outlined in the previous
section (it is to be noted here that this task list is quite thorough, rigorous, and detailed;
consequently some tasks in this list may not be applicable to your project and can be
ignored) on two separate worksheets to estimate the man-hours and dollars (you can
substitute your local currency in place of dollars) respectively, for each of the above
tasks. You can also create a third worksheet for PERT charting from start to finish, which
will show all the main milestones, based on your input to the worksheet: as a starting
point, you can put all the tasks / subtasks from the previous section into Excel / Microsoft
Project for PERT charting.
