5. Customer Success and Use Cases
5.1 User Profiles

The
users specified in this section are considered the “actors” in the use-
cases described in Section M.N. A computer server from a hypothetical
company called MOON running the open source Linux and Moon’s
proprietary Unix called Munix is used as the sample product for the
following user profiles… >>
<<User profile 1: Experienced IT technicians at out Installed Customer
Bases who are familiar with MOON products, Munix, concepts and
technologies of Unix /Linux / Munix server clustering in HA (High
Availability) and load-balancing modes.
Application: This product's graphical user interfaces (GUI) as an aid to
their productivity and enhances their ability to carry out their server
configuration tasks. An easy way to switch between the GUI and the
Munix command prompt will be required.>>
<<User profile 2: Over time, less-technical staff located in Data
Centers owned by Internet hosting companies (please note that some
of these less-technology-savvy operators may be operating from Brazil,
China, India, Russia, and Australia) will install, maintain, and upgrade
an increasing percentage of MOON servers.
Application: These users will require many configuration parameters
defaulted, visible on-screen help, significant guidance and
reinforcement through software means as they navigate server boot-
up, clustering configurations, server hot-swaps, and system shut-
