8. If the user has purchased one research doc, he is taken to the webpage
where he can browse the whole research / download it as a PDF /
download it as a ZIP file. If the user has purchased more than one
research doc, he is taken to the webpage which displays the executive
summary of each research he has purchased with instructions on top as
to how to browse each one of them / download each research as PDF /
download all bought research docs into a single ZIP file (also see the
associated HTML mockups to understand the system look and feel).
The use case ends.
Extensions:
3a.1. User clicks on Save the Shopping Cart, and an appropriate
message is shown, and the user is given two options: Continue
Browsing, and Checkout.
3a.2. User clicks on Checkout. (Please see step# 3b.1 for flow of events
in case the User clicks on Continue Browsing instead of clicking on
Checkout.)
3a.3. Flow of events resumes at step# 6 in MSS.
3b.1. User clicks on Continue Browsing.
(Note: 3a and 3b are
offshoots from step# 3 in the MSS, in this example. As you can
visualize, if we had yet another alternative flow of events, we would

visualize, this flow of events can have a number of steps such as
3b.2, 3b.3, etc. The flow of events may or may not resume in the
MSS. Let’s assume it does not. Look below at 3b.4 which says that

7a.1. Use Case UCONM processing is complete --- it notifies this use
case that the system did not receive the payment successfully --- in
other words, the user did not buy the documents in the shopping cart.
